ThePrincessWife and I are about to start gaming again, both with OD&D/Swords & Wizardry and in Pendragon. To that, I've been going through all my old game notes and coming up with recaps that she can read and get back up to speed. I thought I would share them here as well.
Here are the links:

(Should I reproduce the text here? Or just the links?)
Anyway, in writing these out, I found myself remembering a lot of ideas, memories and half formed plans - those "Oh yea... what about this... and this..." and I found myself wanting to go back to The Vale again and being the exploration. It was like pulling back the curtain and falling in love again with this setting and what was so exciting about playing it.
I think I'm really healed from the drek and scum from the TARGA and YesNoOSR deals. It feels good to just be excited to game. Now if I pick up my miniatures painting brush, I'm REALLY in trouble. I still have almost 100 left to paint! LMAO!

Merry Christmas and welcome back to the gaming fold. I hear you about the minis -- I recently moved and found a whole box of unpainted lead that was misplaced for about 16 years. Whew! :)
100?
Amateur...
100, I have pass by several 1000 unpainted just to get to my paint desk.
Just remember, if you are a wargamer, when you paint your last mini you die. So you should be ok. Clearly you haven't qualified for wargammer status with only 100 to paint.
Isn'y 100 wargamer anti-spouse code for 1000? That's saved my neck plenty of times. . .
Wha? Hi honey! No, you misread what I just typed. It doesn't mean. . . wait, what are you doing with that bat?
Waitaminu POP!...fzzzz....spark....
'It feels good to just be excited to game.'
Good for you, and have a Happy Xmas !
Pendragon is a GREAT game for couples!
