My Co-Guest-DM for my wife's solo game on Friday...

Bear says "Play Swords & Wizardry! Woof!" Yes, he's that big that he can rest his head on the table. He hasn't eaten any dice or miniatures yet.

Awww....bet he keeps everyone in line? Who could fudge dice rolls looking at that face?

Glad to hear he's doing better!

When I lives with my parents and we got a puppy in the house for the first time, she did once steal a mouthful of my dice; she did not eat them, just held them in her mouth and carried them around.

My best dog evah was a Yellow Lab. Awesome friend for a single guy. We currently have a Black Lab and he is a great dog as well. I've said that this is the last dog, but you know how that goes. Maybe a Chocolate Lab is next?

@Zach - as long as he's fed, he'll keep coming back to the table. He sees us sitting there, laughing and having fun and he wants to join in.

@Viriatha - thank you!

@thanuir - Oh funny! This dog has destroyed 3 cell phones and a Comcast remote. I have no doubt he'd swallow my dice and destroy my minis.

@Sham - In all seriousness, our house and lifestyle is not conducive for a Choc lab. I wish I could have the time to train and hunt him, but my commute and working in an office just kills it for me.

I foresee a whole subgenre of DMs' Dog Pictures and War Stories.

I don't have any pictures of Golem at the gaming table, but he's Bear-sized or a little bigger. He's a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog.

The dear, departed Vinnie once was bad when we left her alone in the house when our gaming group went to dinner and shredded all of the little individual Ziploc bags Keith had his dice sets in. We're pretty sure she didn't eat any actual dice though.

That's a funny story on many levels.

Handsome. Be thankful he's to big to hop on the table and sit on your notes.

@Max - indeed, his bulk would probably disrupt things quite a bit. Those are great links/pics, thanks!
