KING FELIX THE EIGHTH bids welcome to the loyal Subjects of Enonia. You have suffered much throughout these hard Times and Tribulations, but your devotion to the Land and to the Light does you and your great city credit. Your Marshall, the Great Roehm, speaks highly of you and your faith in that we will survive these Dark Times.
It is not MY will that further settlements beyond Enonia be erected. The Marshall speaks of armies of the Goblyns and Ko-bolds lurking in the woods been your Fair City and the Threat they bring to Enonia. The KINGDOM suffers much and the brave Men and Women who serve the KINGDOM are hard pressed on all sides. We must ensure that We hold what We have - soon, I will return to the Lost Lands and we will once again prosper. I bid you to have Patience.
The KINGDOM depends on your continued sacrifice and work in tilling the Land and providing the Food that we all need. All in the KINGDOM speak of the great farms of Enonia. We hope and adjure to the Light that the plantings and harvests will be Bountiful this year.
All Subjects of the KINGDOM are Permitted to entreat to their Lords and Ladys for all matters that require the King's Attention. All Subjects, the King and Great Priests Bless You and pray that the Light shines upon you.
Signed by His Hand, KING FELIX THE EIGHTH, this Day, First of Spring, Year 56 AD.
This was just posted to the Dark Ages list this morning. I'm closing out the first year of the Dark Ages campaign with games this week. We'll be taking a break for the holidays and restarting next year after New Years. One of my first players, my brother-in-law who plays Parabellum a 2nd level mage, is moving to Tennessee, so the game on Sunday will be a bit sad and happy. I've asked him what he intends on doing with his character and how he'd like to go, so I am actually going to have a bit of a *gasp* story-line plot going. Nothing that overrides the players, but it will be a nice way to say "Great games!" to Parabellum.
I can't wait to play tonight!
And before I forget - one of the players posted a recent adventure log. I love reading what the players have to say.
